The Woodpecker is a family run restaurant and bar situated in Wide Close, Lanark. It has been in the McGarrigle family since 1981. Starting as a coffee shop and gift shop, we opened our first bar in October 1985. Many refurbishments over the years have given us a modern popular venue which appeals to all ages. We pride ourselves on being a family business and Gerry and Eileen are always on hand to look after you whether it’s the restaurant, bar or function room.
